  4. Nice excerpt but price of matured pig is determined by size not the age or breed. Price now range from #750 to #800 per kilogramme.
    Also, no weaner is sold below #10,000 in any farm in Lagos.
    Cost of feeding is now very high as cost of grains have gone up astronomically.

  5. The writer of the above prices must be stupid,selfish and deceitful..I’m a Pig farmer and the least 3months pigs in my farms cost not less than #30.000
    While those of 300kg cost not less than #100,000.He should not discourage new farmers . If he has matured pigs of 300 to 400 kg, he s not sell them for 65k i will buy them for 85,000.
